The point? 

Even though all of my generation’s boybands really were, on average, not that much older than the 1D boys, mine looked like grownups. 

I thought at first it was just flawed perspective because I was so much younger and anyone older looks way older than you, but no.

My boybands looked like men even when they were teenagers.

1D look like children.

And that (along with their patronizing and sanitized lyrics - even by boyband standards) is why I cannot understand the fascination with them.

Why do you like a band that has been infantilized so dramatically.

Im not saying all guys are the same, but really??? So far all the guys that i liked would tell me something related to that quote. I live in Lynwood, and guys from here immediately expect for girls to jump on them and fuck them. I dont blame them cause Lynwood girls are very easy.

Kids at school talk about MUSE like they really do love/know them. When they only know the songs that they play on MTV or radio or Twilight.

And when I talk about them about their OLD music they either tell me, “Is that a new song?” or, “Who sings that song?”
